Find the Right Person on Social Media

No matter what studies yosocial-business-hands-reach2-ss-1920u read, the numbers are all about the same: according to Statista, “in 2017, 81% of U.S. Americans had a social media profile, representing a five percent growth compared to the previous year. According to estimates, the number of worldwide social media users reached 1.96 billion and is expected to grow to some 2.5 billion by 2018.”

The most popular social media platforms are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. The list is growing, but you get the idea. With so many people using social media, how do you know who’s doing what and on what platform? As a practicing legal professional, you are no doubt aware of the impact of social media and the fact that with so many of your clients using social media, there is a goldmine of information; not only about your clients, but also about other interested parties to that case. You can no longer ignore this fact – if you don’t get the information first, opposing counsel will certainly have it before you.
